Inside Tarkett’s expertise: French journalists visit Sedan site

Last week, Tarkett welcomed journalists for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most emblematic sites in our manufacturing footprint.

Founded in 1962 by French industrial pioneer François Sommer, Sedan plant now employs 230 people, produces 7 million square meters of flooring each year, and exports its products to 24 countries.

The visit included a tour of the production lines, digital printing technologies, testing laboratories, as well as the Tarkett Academy and the Tarkett Expertise Center. It also provided an opportunity to showcase how the site has evolved over the decades and the innovations developed to meet customers’ needs.

Most importantly, the day gave visitors the chance to meet the teams and gain a deeper understanding of the skills, expertise, and commitment that drive the site forward every day.
