Tarkett Sports begins 2023 with exciting new collaborations

Collaboration with Trinity University continues
As part of the ongoing Athletics Master Plan that Trinity University announced in 2020, this year Tarkett Sports was entrusted with installing new surfaces for its baseball, softball, and practice football fields. The team at Tarkett Sports Construction oversaw the baseball and softball projects from design through building and installation.
Design and construction teams collaborated with Trinity campus personnel and coDesign and construction teams collaborated with Trinity campus personnel and coaches to overcome various challenges, even using 3D renderings to optimize design-build decision-making. FieldTurf’s state-of-the-art DoublePlay system was recently debuted at Trinity’s baseball field while their softball field was fitted with FieldTurf’s innovative TripleThreat Series, the first system designed specifically for softball.

Bringing a unique system to MetLife Stadium
At MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets American football teams, Tarkett Sports is set to install a new FieldTurf CORE sAt MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL), Tarkett Sports has installed a new FieldTurf CORE system, the first of its kind. Featuring a unique heavyweight infill system, proven to deliver a lower incidence of total injuries, and the first multi-layer dual-polymer monofilament fiber, which boasts a unique wide-gauge design that provides leading cleat (studded sports shoes) release times, FieldTurf CORE is an industry-leading solution.
A proud return to Colombia
Tarkett Sports is honored to have been asked by Colombia’s Club Atlético Nacional football club to supply their new turf system. Powered by PSport Systems, the completed renovation implemented FieldTurf Vertex Core, one of the best turf systems on the market. The success of this project is in large part thanks to Pedro Sarmiento, General Manager at PSport Systems, and it is an excellent opportunity for our teams.
